Shen Yun 2023: Ready, Set…

This season will kick-off almost simultaneously on three different continents, with the first performances in Atlanta (Dec. 24), Hachioji, Japan (Dec. 26), and Berlin (Dec. 28).

With our longer-than-usual 2021-2022 season, our regular summer/autumn rehearsal season was a little different this year. Our non-touring months were jam-packed in 2022, what with rehearsals, concerto recordings, artists participating in dance and music competitions, and an original opera. Meanwhile, our composers, choreographers, and costume-makers were busy creating a new production for our annual international tour—and it’s as rich and splendid as ever.

All along our dancers and musicians have been keeping in tip-top shape, honing and elevating the skills. You can find recordings of their dance training and competitions, Q&As, and your favorite classical concertos performed by Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra on our online streaming platform Shen Yun Zuo Pin.

In Shen Yun’s 2023 production that we’ve prepared, we’ll be unearthing new historical figures, revisiting ancient legends, and traveling with timeless melodies through China’s five thousand years of civilization.

Along with many of our favorite cities around the world, this year’s tour will take us to an increasing number of cities in, to name just a few, Spain (quatro), Japan (we’re up to 10 now), and France (bonjour/a bientot, we’ll be coming and going quite a few times!). We’ll return to New Zealand after a few years’ hiatus. And… we’re very excited to perform in Israel and Brazil for the second time in Shen Yun’s history and to the Dominican Republic for the first!

Here’s our full schedule. We look forward to seeing you soon at a theatre near you!
